>>> CHRISTOPHE DUMAREST - 26 years old, from Annecy

Motivated equally by performance and by teamwork, my aim is to put my
all into high-level mountaineering.

“The north faces of the Alps and the mythical summits of the Mont Blanc
range were the stuff dreams were made of, they are now my playground.”

The Lafaille route on the west face of the Drus (8 days), a winter route opening
on the north face of the Grandes Jorasses (6 days), and the opening of a new
route on the south face of the Mont Blanc are just a few of my achievements.

Far away expeditions to mystical summits are all reminders of tough
challenges : First unroped ascent of the ‘Cruz des Sur’ in Peru (800 m of
granite 7 C+, at 5 000m altitude), ascent ‘alpine style’ of ‘Unnamed tower’ in
the Trango range, Pakistan (1 000 m climbing, 7 C+, to 6 250 m ) and the
reopening of a route on the Trollryngen in Norway.

The teamwork is just as important as the difficulity of the climb.
