Mountaineerers' profiles ? |
| |
As high-level mountaineerers, we push ourselves to our limits to experience
new challenges.
We are enthusiasts - or rather, fanatics - of the great outdoors, travelling
and whatever kind of climbing we can get (ice, rocks and mixed).
Taking on the most technical faces that exist, we seek new sensations and
new ways to make use of our resources.

Project and expeditions |
| |
We are starting a 2 year project at the beginning of 2006 to conquer the
world’s most demanding mountains, and we invite you to support us in our
adventure.
|
| |
The main objective of this challenge is to open a new route on the
Gasherbrum IV (7920m) in Pakistan. Since 1958, only four teams have
successfully made it to the summit climbing the 2500m west-face, also
known as ‘Shining Wall’ because of the magnificent reflection of the setting
sun on it’s marble face.
Climbing such a face requires long and rigorous mental and physical
training. With this in mind, and coupled with our will to experience this
adventure together, we have decided that there is no better training than
taking on four great Alpine challenges.
|
The ‘human experience’ remains the fundamental driver for this challenge.
We hope to take in new cultures, see new places and above all, share our
journey with our friends and former teammates with whom we have shared
some of the most tremendous times of our lives: Patrick Gabarrou,
Christophe Moulin and Arnaud Petit, without forgetting our most charming
supporters: Pauline and Elise.
